About Coach

GAA obsessed from 4/5 years old and represented intercounty at underage levels. I started Crossfit in 2020 and became obsessed immediately. I struggled hugely with shoulder injuries from hurling from a young age. I dislocated both my shoulders, which ended my hurling career prematurely at the age of 24. CrossFit has helped me regain stability and strength in these again.

Turning Point

A realization came that I had fallen into a sluggish habitual routine with a lack of exercise and drive after not meaningfully exercising for years. I was unmotivated and comfortable until I realized I was not happy with what I saw in the mirror, which then had a knock-on effect on my mental health. Deciding to start in Crossfit, a new discipline was just what I needed, and I have not looked back since. It built good habits from diet to exercise, which had a knock-on effect on my physical and mental attributes, which I also brought into my personal and professional life.

Motivation & Passion

The main reason for becoming a coach is to relay the methodology and foundations that helped me transform my physical and mental health and help others do the same.
